This project was a fun, quick way to update a wall that I had been wanting to update for so long. The best part about it was that it only cost $3 for a sample of paint and about an hour’s worth of my time!
Here’s what it looked like before. I didn’t not love it, but I also wanted to do something fun with it.
So I started off painting the bottom section and voila! It was a quick and easy update…
…but my fingers were itchy and I wanted to do more… and so I did!
I had originally thought about wallpapering the top half, but I told my husband last month that we would make a conscientious effort to not spend extra & unnecessary money during the month of February. I also worried that if I didn’t like it, it would be a waste of money (wallpaper can be expensive)! So instead, I just dipped my finger in the can of paint and did a little finger painting 🙂 It was fun, easy and I love how it turned out. The best part about it is that we all added a fingerprint to the wall, which means we all contributed to it… and when we are ready for a change, we can paint right over it! Do you like how it turned out?
